Over the years the Project has provided opportunities to volunteer and train within the communities of Halton. Many individuals working in the care sector and others to-day will credit Kings Cross Project as being the catalyst that inspired them to follow a career route that was not open to them in any other setting.

 

For example, over the past two years alone we have been directly influential in the following sample of outcome for local people:

 

2 adults securing work as Family Support Workers

1 adult securing work as Speech & Language Therapy Assistant

1 adult securing work as Project Assistant Worker

3 adults securing work as Crèche Workers

2 adults securing work as Admin Workers

4 adults securing work as Access to university

2 adults accessing study for Social Work Degrees

1 adult accessing study for Degree in Childhood Studies

6 adults currently studying Access to Social Work courses
