Kings Cross Kids Clubs

The service gives all children, aged between 4 – 11 years old, the opportunity to have fun by providing creative activities that will enable them to develop creative and social skills. Children are offered a safe, supportive environment where trained staff, (NNEB, NVQ level 3), can respond to their different needs. The service is designed to offer children an opportunity to have fun through all areas of their development – social, physical, intellectual, creative and emotional.

These clubs, established for 15 years, operate in 3 areas of Widnes identified by social depravation indices and accommodate 70+ children per week. The clubs are structured to encompass the ‘Every Child Matters’ agenda, i.e. that every child should:  Be Healthy, Stay Safe, Enjoy & Achieve, Make a Positive Contribution, and Achieve Economic Wellbeing.
