Hello, welcome to the Kings Cross Project's Child and Adolescent Counselling Service. My name is Bill Clarke, I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and I co-ordinate this service.

Our team consists of Diploma in counselling qualified and experienced counsellors.

Alice Woodward works alongside myself and between us we have many years experience working with children and adolescents between the ages of 5 - 18 years old.

The team is also complemented by two sessional workers and two volunteer counsellors.

If you are having difficulties in your life feeling isolated and unable to cope, please contact us.

Families/Carers/Young people refer to us for many reasons including:

If you relate to any of the above issues as a young person, parent or carer and you feel you would benefit from our counselling service, please ring Kings Cross Project on 0151 420 4905. If we are not available, please leave your details with our administration staff and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

We offer a friendly and confidential service, and aim to work alongside children/adolescents and their families and carers.

Once you have contacted us we will support you in a caring and confidential manner. Our process begins with an informal assessment, and gives children and adolescents an opportunity to explore issues and feelings that have an effect upon their daily lives. It helps children and adolescents to understand their behaviour and supports them to explore and develop an understanding of themselves enabling them to change and move forward.

We also offer therapeutic support to families and carers.
