Volunteer mentoring is a new project which is funded by the Active Community Unit of the Home Office.
Our aim is to establish mentor relationships so as to enable individuals to work through difficult periods of change in their lives and go on to reach their full potential.
A volunteer mentor is an adult who gives his/her spare time to children/young people, minimum of two hours per week.
The mentoring relationship between mentor and mentee concentrates on social interaction, self -esteem and confidence building on a one-to-one basis.
All of the children/young people we support live in the Halton area.
