Hello, welcome to the Kings Cross Project's Child and Adolescent Counselling Service. My name is Bill Clarke, I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and I co-ordinate this service. This service is currently funded by Child and Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
Our team consists of Diploma in counselling qualified and experienced counsellors.
Alice Woodward works alongside myself and between us we have many years experience working with children and adolescents between the ages of 5 - 18 years old.
The team is also complemented by two sessional workers and two volunteer counsellors.

To work alongside families, carers and other organisations to ensure the health and emotional well being of the children/adolescents we counsel.

- To offer children and adolescents an opportunity to explore issues and feelings that have an effect upon their daily lives.
- To help children/adolescents to understand their own behaviour.
- To support them whilst they explore and develop an understanding of themselves enabling them to change and move forward.
- To offer therapeutic support to families and carers.

Our Referral System
- Please telephone the Kings Cross Project. If we are not available please leave details with the administration team on 0151 420 4905 and we will contact you as soon as possible.
- Once we have received your referral we will visit the clients in their homes for an informal assessment and arrange a suitable counselling venue to meet the needs of the client.
- We will liaise with you as necessary throughout the counselling process
and aim to work in partnership as much as possible with other organisations.
